Week 7
What we did in class was learn about KaKao Talk, it's a multi-platform texting app that allows iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry users to send and receive messages for free. Also, we did Wolfram Alpha, where you can search information about anything. We also did a Numbers app, where it's like an advanced version of Microsoft Excel, where the numbers are already calculated for you. Another was Google Maps, where you can get directions from where you are currently, to where you want to go via bus, walking, bicycle, etc. There was also reminders, where you can remind yourself of doing things that you might forget. We also learned about Flixster, it is an American social movie site for discovering new movies, learning about movies, and learning about the showing times. And finally there was Google Wallet is a mobile payment system developed by Google that allows its users to store debit cards, credit cards, loyalty cards, and gift cards.
