Today for this session's finals, we learned about Google apps, which is a customizable versions of several Google products using a domain name provided by the customer, which is different compared to cloud drive.

Week 7

What we did in class was learn about KaKao Talk, it's a multi-platform texting app that allows iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry users to send and receive messages for free. Also, we did Wolfram Alpha, where you can search information about anything. We also did a Numbers app, where it's like an advanced version of Microsoft Excel, where the numbers are already calculated for you. Another was Google Maps, where you can  get directions from where you are currently, to where you want to go via bus, walking, bicycle, etc. There was also reminders, where you can remind yourself of doing things that you might forget. We also learned about Flixster, it is an American social movie site for discovering new movies, learning about movies, and learning about the showing times. And finally there was Google Wallet is a mobile payment system developed by Google that allows its users to store debit cards, credit cards, loyalty cards, and gift cards.

Week 6

Today, as usual, we took the daily quiz. And a couple of students went up and did their app presentations, we learned about Evernote, which is a suite of software and services designed for notetaking and archiving. We also learned about mediafire, where you can upload any file that you want for up to 10 GB. There's also onedrive, where you can upload OneDrive on all of your devices and access your photos, videos, documents and more from almost anywhere. There's also Tango, which is an advanced version of Skype and Facebook, but only available in the app, and it's free. We also learned about Layar, it allows users to find various items based upon augmented reality technology. We also did Google Drive, it's like mediafire, but you can upload more. There's a music app called Iwritemusic, where you can write your own music without the paper. And there's also OneNote, where you can organize notes, and any routines, or reminders for yourself.

For this week, we have used the Skype app, wolfram alpha, at showcase, and docscan. A+ Signature, to customize pictures. Workflowy, to create a list, which makes it easier to remember things.

In class CAOT 151, we did a tutorial connecting to Wifi, Blogger, Maps, Safari, the kaywareader app, followed by the at showcase string app, and the blogger app.
